Cortex Networking

Enterprise architecture for companies putting AI to work.

Cortex Networking advises established businesses on how to fit large language models into the systems they already run: the architecture, the integration, and the controls that let it pass an audit.

Services

Architecture

Target-state designs that place AI capabilities alongside ERP, data platforms, and line-of-business systems. Delivered as decision records your engineers can build from.

Integration

Retrieval, agent, and workflow patterns connected to existing infrastructure, in the cloud or on premises. Local models where data cannot leave the building.

Governance

Model selection, evaluation, cost control, and access policy, written so that finance, security, and auditors can follow the reasoning.

Fractional leadership

Enterprise-architecture direction for teams adopting AI without a full-time architect. Regular cadence, clear ownership, no surprises at review time.

How engagements run

  1. Read the current system first. Every engagement begins with the architecture you have, not the one a vendor would like you to have.
  2. Test the riskiest assumption early. The unknown most likely to sink the project gets proven or disproven before anything else is built.
  3. Ship the smallest version that changes an outcome. Working software in production beats a pilot that never leaves the lab.
  4. Leave decisions where the next engineer will find them. Records, diagrams, and runbooks stay with your team when the engagement ends.

The firm

Cortex Networking, LLC is an independent consultancy based in Puerto Rico, serving clients across the United States. The practice draws on two decades in telecommunications, contact-center platforms, and enterprise IT, with a current focus on applied AI in manufacturing and distribution.

Engagements are led directly by the principal. There is no bench, no handoff to junior staff, and no reselling of platforms.
